Advantages and Disadvantages of the Gauls-
The Gauls have a Speed Bonus, they have the fastest troops in the game
Cranny holds twice as many resources. At Level 10 for the Romans and Teutons, the Cranny holds 1000 of each resource. At Level 10 for the Gauls, it holds 2000 of each resource.

Average Defense Bonus because of Palisade
Merchants carry 750 total resources each, and their speed is 24 fields per hour

In a quick overview, I think the Gauls are the second best tribe. They have a good defense, so they can basically just lay back and get resources and build a huge army. Then, with that huge army, they can start becoming a big power in their area. Plus, their cranny is twice the size of the Romans and Teutons, so even if they are attacked, it is much harder to steal anything from them.

hello how to get more resources fast in travian on a mac?

Scott: I’m sure every Travian player has looked for this at least once, you’re definitely not alone. However, the only way to get resources is by your production and other in-game methods, such as raiding, trading, etc. If you’re still a beginning player, the absolute best advice I can give you is focus on production, and nothing else. Don’t even worry about troops yet if you’re still under 50 population. If you try and build a few clubswingers, legionnaires, or phalanxes to try and raid somebody, it won’t be that long before they’re killed in a raid by 50 imperians or something. Just focus on production and build and upgrade crannies if you’re getting farmed.
You forgot to mention what is perhaps the best unique Gaul feature: the ability to build traps, especially for defense-minded players.
I have just survived waves of more than 10 attacks from 4 members of an alliance with a total of over 1000 units! — and they got zero booty, and only managed to destroy my level 1 Rally Point.
This is primarily due to having 197 traps.
Scott: I guess I did forget about that, and it is a very useful weapon, but if they kill all of your troops in the process usually none of their troops will be trapped. But against small raids its a great weapon.
but they take a couple troops out of the battle
e.g:
1500 phalanx against 1800 clubs, 200 traps
that makes the battle equal, and if the teuton wins he’ll get his troops back, but the gaul still kills a whole lot of troops
Hi,
Im going to be a Gaul because it is so nice! Now do you think it is good to upgrade my cranny a lot before the next night or not spend the resources on that and buy production instead? Cuz in one night the protection is over;) Should I buy troops?
I CANNot upgrade my resources and buildings simultaneously why ??/
