If you train a soldier, and have 30 crop production, you’ll notice that after you train your soldier, you only have 29 crop production! And this is for just one soldier! You will need to keep a crop production as high as possible, because if you get into negative crop production…. Well that’s just not good. So here are some tips on how to keep your crop production high.

  • Upgrade your crop resource fields. Yes, this is the obvious one. You can spend as much gold as you want on 25% increase on crop production, but the best and most efficient way is to simply upgrade your crop resource fields as much as possible.
  • Build a Mill and Bakery! If you build both of these, upgrade them to the fullest, you can get a 50% bonus on crop production! This will have a huge impact on how much crop you will have, so I would also highly recommend doing this if you have the resources.
  • Get a 25% Crop Production Bonus for 7 gold on Travian Plus For a Week. Yes, this will cost you real life money, but it is also a way to increase your crop production
  • Trade for Crop! If you have a negative crop production, but you somehow you keep grain in your granary, your soldiers will take the crop out of your granary, and they won’t die. (Tip: Soldiers will actually die if you run out of crop and have a negative crop production, so keep up your crop production!)
  • Raid for Crop! This is a very hard way to do it, but, if all else fails, it will be your only way. It works the same way as trading, but you’re stealing it. You could make enemies while doing this, so beware. Only do this if all else fails and it is your only way to keep up your crop production.
